Wi-Max cards this year

Great news for those eagerly expecting the roll-out of Wi-Max cards, the technology is expected to be with us earlier than expected! Intel had previously said it expected to have Wi-Max products in 2007, but now it’s looking like they will be launched in the second half of this year, with Wi-Max cards for laptops being made available. The costs of such cards are coming down, and Intel is also working on a chip that integrates Wi-Max and Wi-Fi. India and Spain are currently piloting the technology also.
