Sony launches new Flash MP3 player

Sony has today confirmed the launch of its new flash MP3 players. The 21st century version of the Walkman has models ranging in capacity from 512MB to 1GB and 2GB, utilising built-in flash memory. The players are available in a range of colours, including pink, blue, silver, violet, black, and lime green. They have a quick-charge functionality that provides them with three hours of battery life in just three minutes, and seemingly they have 28 hours playback when using the ATRAC3 format and a further 27 hours with MP3. Each player comes with the latest SonicStage 3.4 software. A range of accessories were also launched, including neck strap headphones, protective cases and so forth.
