Bethesda prepares first patch and first add-on to Oblivion

If you've been playing Bethesda's latest hit, Oblivion, you might have heard a lot about its future in using pay-downloads for content expansion. That and more is currently being discussed on TES forums, with staff confirming that a patch is due soon for both the PC version and the Xbox 360 version, and that the first piece of downloadable content (add-on) for pay will be made available soon. The expansion doesn't add a huge amount of content, probably only worth a few more hours of play, but is coming down at only $1.89. Many have been outraged by Bethesda even contemplating the pay downloads, saying that it goes against the community following the raving success that Morrowind had, in part to 3rd-party modifications.
