Who's the greatest cinematic baddie of all time? Well, as far as I am concerned, it's Darth Vader. Vader, who's on screen presence towers over the likes of Hannibal Lector is soon to be getting his own video game, according to LucasArts, the publishing arm of George Lucas' gaming empire.

According to the newspaper, the "Their [LucasArts president Jim Ward and VP of product development Jim Hirschmann] excitement was palpable on a recent afternoon", the article states, "when Mr. Ward, Mr. Hirschmann, and Haden Blackman, the project leader of a forthcoming Star Wars game, reviewed all of the company's recent projects. Mr. Blackman outlined a new storyline that delved deeper into Darth Vader's history".
It's fairly likely that the game would involve the part of Vader's life in between the end of Episode III and the beginning of Episode IV in the six films. Of course, nothing is confirmed yet.
