Mediabolic adds software company Digital 5 to their fold

In a press release issued today, Mediabolic, a company specializing in entertainment networking software (such as the software that runs on many home media centers) has announced the acquisition of Digital 5 Inc, a company that produces software specifically for streaming multimedia content. With integration a key goal in what Mediabolic does, it makes sense to have a complete approach to anything media center related, which as home devices expand, would include making users data accessible to other PCs in the house. Mostly, this shows how the market, especially at a home consumer level, is rapidly flocking to using their own home entertainment setups to store and use digital content, from pictures to movies to music, and likely a lot more. You can read more about Mediabolic's software at their site.
