World Cup wallchart contains Trojan

Doing the rounds on the Net now is a World Cup wallchart that contains a Trojan horse. Spamvertised in messages, the Haxdoor-IN Trojan horse claims in its messages to contain a program that will allow fans to keep tab on football teams playing in the World Cup. Naturally, folks silly enough to take up this offer wind up with an infected PC.

Net security firm Sophos says all the spam emails promoting downloads of the malware it has seen so far have been written in German. "There is no reason to believe that hackers will not switch to using other languages to increase their pool of potential victims," it warns.
