Samsung Electronics has unveiled what it claims is the world's slimmest mobile phone. The SGH-X820 measures a mere 6.9 millimeters thick, whilst packing all of the usual features one has come to expect from a modern handset, including two-megapixel camera, MP3 player and so forth. By breaking the wall of 7-millimeter thickness for the first time, Samsung claims that the SGH-X820 is a world first.

Samsung Mobile has announced that it has developed the world's slimmest phone the SGH-X280 which is a mere 6.9mm thick. It is simply amazing that Samsung has managed to squeeze in a 2 Megapixel Camera with video recording, MP3 player, File viewer, Bluetooth connectivity and TV out for viewing your pics and videos on the big screen. The SGH-X280 has 80MB onboard memory for loading up your favourite songs. The phone will be on display at 'Sviaz ExpoComm 2006" to be held in Russia from May 10 to May 13.
