New SUSE Linux to debut this week

Novell plans to make SUSE Linux 10.1 available later this week. The company considers the release a major milestone, and SUSE Linux 10.1 contains many new important features.

"SUSE Linux 10.1 Final will be released on Thursday, 11th of May," a Web site which coordinates development of the software currently states.

  1. Finally! Maybe I'll switch from Fedora to SuSE. (I use Fedora because SuSE was getting old, but it's much simpler IMO)
  2. i am running suse 10.0 and ubuntu 5.10 both rock big time.!!!!i can wait to see 10.1 suse i am sure i will love it. vista can kiss my @$$.\lordbf1

  4. I am running Open Suse 10.0 also and it turns out that both Fedora and Ubuntu somehow would not work on my old computer, which is a Pentium III 450MGZ. I therefore think Open Suse is the best one out there.
