Warner Bros to distribute on BitTorrent

Warner Brothers is preparing to distribute its output using the BitTorrent peer-to-peer network - despite being dead against the piracy that BitTorrent was (and is) associated with. This will mean that BitTorrent will become the first "peer-assisted technology platform" to offer customers the ability to get media either via video-on-demand or electronic sell-through. The service is due to launch in the summer of this year.
