Intel to release 9W 1.06GHz dual core Yonah

Intel is coming closer and closer to their promise of a 5W laptop, and as such have recently announced the release an ultra-low voltage Yonah core processor. Running at 1.06GHz with a 533MHz FSB, this dual-core mini beast that uses a 65nm process only dissipates 9W. Impressive, to say the least, and definitely something to look forward to. For performance versus price, it probably won't win anything, at $262 during its release sometime later this year, but it does bring the concept of a laptop that lasts all day closer to reality. Cool stuff. I can't wait to see if AMD has an answer to this as well.
