Novell have been pleased to announce that their recently released SUSE Linux Enterprise 10 has been received extremely well by the market. Currently, over 165,000 users from around the globe have downloaded components of the suite, and the SUSE Linux Enterprise homepage itself has received over 312,000 hits in the past 10 days.

John Dragoon, the chief marketing officer for Novell, claims that it is gratifying to see the efforts of the SUSE Linux team being so well acknowledged. He claims that, with SUSE Linux Enterprise 10, Novell has delivered the only complete Linux solution from the desktop to the data centre, and that no other Linux distro is able to match it for functionality or appeal.

"We’re thrilled to see that the marketplace is just as excited by Novell’s new offerings as we are. It’s gratifying to see the hard work of the worldwide SUSE Linux team and the open source community acknowledged by thousands of corporate technologists and users." - John Dragoon.
The company has also confirmed that daily software downloads from its website have increased 800 percent after the launch of Suse Linux 10.
