ATI releases Catalyst 6.7 series drivers

Radeon users may now rejoice, as ATI has officially released the Catalyst 6.7 series drivers which have been eagerly anticipated. Even more good news, they've also recently updated the ATI Linux drivers, now at version 8.27.10 for both 32-bit and 64-bit systems. You can of course fetch the drivers or peruse the release notes right here, and if you are currently using a Radeon card it looks good to upgrade. They fixed a number of issues in many popular games, such as a CrossFire bug in Oblivion. There were also fixes to many popular online games like BF2, WoW and others.

  1. Nice to know, I could try to see if Linux has less problems with these. (Were they released when I installed them on FC5 last wek?)[Edited by DragonMaster on 2006-07-31 11:05:54]
  2. Good, I'm about to reload, be nice to start with fresh drivers.
