The CPU market is a worldwide one, and with companies like AMD and Intel offering CPUs to nearly the entire globe, they obviously must tailor their offerings to each location they go to. There's a really great interview with Gaith Kadir, who is the General Manager for AMD in the Middle East and Africa, who talks about what AMD is doing in those regions. It's interesting, because typically we don't hear much about the spread of technology in those regions. He also discusses a number of other things, such as the impact of AMD's recent ATI acquisition. It's fairly short, but the read is well worth it.
