Symantec and Juniper partner for new security offerings

Symantec will be teaming up with Juniper Networks, in an attempt to offer an alternative solution for network protection over Microsoft and Cisco's recent partnership. Dubbing it “Unified Threat Management” as well as “Intrusion Protection Systems”, they are looking to offer an all-encompassing method of securing a network.

As companies become increasingly dependent on not only security, but trust in that security, it is becoming easier than ever for partnerships like this to happen.
