ATI new drivers enable CrossFire in 965 chipset
If you happen to own a 965 based motherboard and an ATI videocard you will want to know that the latest version of their Radeon drivers will enable CrossFire functionality. ATI has a strong interest on this and is encouraging anyone to try it. Fears of ATI's own chipsets being discontinued after their purchase may be contributing to slow pickup, and this may be a way a good way to negate that. ATI is expected to officially support these types of configurations for both Direct3D and OpenGL in upcoming Catalyst releases.
