HP to acquire Voodoo PC
For the past couple of weeks HP has mostly received negative press coverage due to the recent privacy scandal involving some of its highest ranked employees. Now onto something different for a change, HP will be acquiring reknown gaming PC manufacturer Voodoo PC.
The acquisition was made public by Voodoo PC's founder and current CTO Rahul Sood on his blog, no financial details on the transaction were unveiled. HP's move on taking over the specialized manufacturer follows a similar decision taken by main competitor Dell earlier this year when it bought Alienware.

Yes, that's what this post is all about... details are still scarce and is likely you won't see much changes until the end of the year or early next year, but I suggest you read Voodoo's CTO blog post linked above. |

Seems like alot of the big OEMs are eating up alot of the smaller "gaming" brands. |

Guess they'll take the same route as Alienware. |
