Steam adds PayPal support to latest version

Steam users and Valve fans will be happy to hear about the latest update to the Steam client. Aside from a few bug fixes, the ability to purchase software via PayPal has been introduced. For all it's merits and downfalls, PayPal is the most popular online money transaction system, and lets many people transfer money in places they wouldn't normally be able to, such as when one lacks a credit card. Other download systems, like EA's downloader, already incorporate this ability, and many online sites offer PayPal integration as well (such as Newegg).

No further details were released aside from that and a sparse list of bug fixes. If you are already using Steam, the update should download itself.
