Asustek denies MSI acquisition
Despite several rumors, Asustek has come out to completely deny the acquisition of competitor MSI. While such a merger is not unfeasible giving other recent partnerships seen through Asus, such as with Gigabyte, the rumors are apparently false. Of course, we don't always hear the direct truth from them straight out of the chute. After all, they denied an acquisition of Gigabyte, but made no mention of the partnership. Could a similar situation be presenting itself again? Quite possibly, although the rumor mill is capable of producing a lot. Asustek or MSI aren't mentioning anything else at this time.
