Zune not making a dent in iPod territory

How much ground is the Zune making on iPod's territory? Little to none, according to some. Though Microsoft is upbeat about the players potential success and estimates a million units sold very soon, the iPod seems to be unphased by this new competitor. Considering that the Zune is at least selling something, it suggests that market share is coming at the expense of other players. Even so, the Zune's movements aren't anything impressive. 2006 has been quite a year for bad launches, though, and Microsoft has all the money in the world with which to fix it. Still, the behemoth that is the iPod isn't wanting to budge, and I doubt Apple will easily let go of their death grip on the mp3 player market.
