Aside from an assortment of other updates, VMWare has introduced some much-needed functionality and support for Windows Vista in the latest version of their virtualization package. VMWare Workstation 6, currently only in beta, is now compatible with Vista, including the 32 and 64bit versions, both as a host and a guest. Some other quite interesting features they have included are multiple monitor support, high speed USB, paravirtualized Linux kernels and support for higher amounts of RAM. You can read the full release notes at VMWare's site. Like usual, Workstation is offered as a trial, but a legal license is still going to run you quite a bit.
