Radio station sued over Wii contest death

What a week for lawsuits! No surprise to anyone, the family of the mother who died recently in a contest to win a Nintendo Wii is suing the station that sponsored it. Even before the suit popped up, the station fired 10 people involved, including the DJs for the show and its staff. Yesterday, the family's lawyer announced they'd still be taking legal action against the station, due to that it was made obvious on the show about the dangers involved.

If the dangers were so obvious, you'd think people would choose to avoid the situation. The authorities are also getting involved, looking for potential criminal charges due to the fact it cost someone their life.

[qupte] What a week for lawsuits! [/quote]No kidding. I saw that article a while ago, and it's not surprsing that they would sue. Not surprising, but definently rediculous.

I never actually realized that you could drink yourself to death... With water....Now I have two reasons to hate water: Lack of taste, could kill you

If you don't have enough water, it can kill you. If you have too much water, it can also kill you.
