The Xbox Live Arcade service, while stodgy at first, has become quite well rounded and fairly popular for online play, especially with titles like Gears of War. Especially since the launch of the 360, you can find an incredible amount of people using the service just about any time, making it easy to sit back and find people to play with. Recently, the founder of said service has decided to leave Microsoft and bring his experience over to PopCap Games, who specialize in mini and arcade games. You may have tinkered with Bejeweled or Alchemy at one point or another, and Mr. Canessa is taking over the position of vice president of video game platforms for the company. According to the article, mobile gaming may be an area they see a lot of growth, and odds are they'll benefit from having this guy around.
