Nvidia releases 320MB 8800 GTS

As expected, Nvidia and their various hardware partners launched the GeForce 8800 GTS today. With the half-size DDR capacity at 320MB and a price tag starting at around $300, this new card is aimed at mid- to high- end gamers that don't particularly need the behemoth that is the 640MB version or the GTX. Aside from the altered memory, it has identical specifications to the other 8800 GTS card and as such performance will probably be nearly identical. Already, you can find this card available at most online retailers, from various Nvidia partners such as EVGA.

  1. YAY
  2. This is great news, and hey it matches my budget!!! Go eVGA. eVGA is the only company I will buy video cards from. (nVIDIA the way it was meant to be played)
