Intel plans price cuts on entry-level processors

According to a Chinese news source, Intel is planning price cuts on their single core processors, at least a few of them, before the end of April. The cuts are decent, from 5% to 10%, and also will affect some of the lower end dual core processors as well. Originally, Intel's plan was to do all their price cuts at the end of April, but that planned was pushed forward when AMD made huge across-the-board price cuts to compete.

The cuts will affect primarily the Pentium 4, Pentium D and Celeron D, all of which are older-gen technology based on older cores.
