How one can optimize a mouse for a sim-style game is beyond me, but the peripheral company SplitFish has gone and crafted a mouse controller for the PS3 that claims just that. Dubbed the FragFX, it brings an element of PC control over to the console, giving you the precision in aiming that the mouse has over a thumbstick. It looks quite bulky, actually, but that was to be expected as it is another iteration of their EdgeFX controller for the PS2. The unit will retail for around $60, and a wireless version will be released eventually as well.
