AMD/ATI has been a bit quiet the past few months, with relatively little news coming from them sans the launch of the R600 series and a future core revision from AMD. The R600 launch, subject of much debate, along with various other tidbits that are interesting to hear about were spoken of in a recent interview with Vijay Sharma of AMD. The interview was not scripted, and was played by ear, so some of the answers are a bit short. Regardless, it is a good read. Of particular interest was the talk of R600s potential, such as with GDDR4 memory and the newly designed memory interface.

They also talk about the increasing power demands of Radeon cards and future pricing. It is nice to hear at least something for the company who hasn't had much to show in face of Intel the past year.
