Late to the game is better than never, and Lenovo knows that well with their first entry into the dual core tablet market. Lenovo is announcing the launch of their ThinkPad X60 with Core 2 Duo, bringing the “convertible” laptop closer to the competition for performance mobiles. While it'll run you on the order of $2,000, it comes with hardware and plenty to spare. It can come with up to 4GB of DDR2, a Core 2 Duo (up to 1.66GHz), onboard a/b/g wireless and of course all the other features you'd expect from a high end tablet.

For those loyal Lenovo fans, there's a significant discount for ordering one of these before April 16th.
