Lexar announces 16GB ExpressCard SSD

Keeping up with the flash hype, Lexar has announced a new “lower-cost storage expansion” for laptops. Their new Lexar ExpressCard SSD offers to expand the storage space of your computer without having to pop it open. These new cards that will be available in 4GB, 8GB, and 16GB capacities will come with automatic backup software. Pricing on the 16GB model is not yet available, but the 4GB and 8GB models go for $129.99 and $199.99, respectively. We can expect the 16GB model to be well over the $300 mark.
