AMD releases ATI Catalyst 7.7

AMD has published the next iteration of the Catalyst series drivers for both Windows XP and Windows Vista.

This particular update introduces 12x and 24x anti-aliasing support for the ATI Radeon HD 2900 XT and ATI Radeon HD 2600 Series. These new anti-aliasing settings are available through the new Anti-Aliasing Edge Detect Filter. Catalyst 7.7 also brings a number of new Avivo features and enhancements which optimize video playback and display configuration.

As always, AMD has also included performance enhancements for various games. Radeon owners can get the updated driver which is available for Windows XP 32bit and 64bit, Media Center edition, Windows Vista 32bit and Windows Vista 64bit.
