Manhunt 2 UK appeal could take months
Rockstar may be facing another setback in the ongoing Manhunt 2 debacle. While they did initiate the process to appeal the ban of the game in the U.K., it seems it may take a considerable amount of time before the actual decision is made. The BBFC could potentially take months to make their decision, which could be well after the game goes gold.
If that should occur, sales of the game would be hurt severely – as the hype stage after release would be long since passed and nobody would be excited about it anymore. That's assuming, of course, that the BBFC even sees it fit to overturn the ban without requiring an overhaul of the game.
The worst mistake Rockstar could be make would be delaying the release in other countries while waiting for the appeals verdict.

Assuming the appeal doesn't drag on and on forever, the ban may help Rockstar only get more attention and publicity for the game. The more troubling news has to be the fact that its latest GTA game won't be out before Christmas! |

I just don't understand what kind of a person would even want to play this game. |
