OCZ releases 2GB MicroSD flash cards

OCZ announced today an expansion of their flash storage lineup, adding new MicroSD units. In 1GB and 2GB capacities, OCZ is now selling MicroSD cards and adaptor kits, aimed at cell phones and other very mobile devices.

2GB MicroSD units aren't anything new, with SanDisk having offerings for a year now. This is the first time OCZ has the modules available however, and they are available up to 66x speed and aren't all that expensive – retailing at around $38 for the 2GB units. They come with adapters for make them suitable for MicroSD, MiniSD or regular SD use, making it easy to move them between a phone and a PC.
