Radeon users everywhere, AMD has released a new package of the Catalyst driver suite. Catalyst 7.9 is now available for Windows XP and Windows Vista users, up on their new AMD Game site that was just recently launched.

The Vista update includes several bugfixes, including two significant bugfixes for the recent release of Bioshock, such as the odd graphical glitches that occurred playing the game. A number of other bugs have been fixed, including an HDMI display issue on the Xpress 12x0 series, issues with a few programs and video playback and issued with CrossFire.

On the XP side, fixes for Bioshock and WoW were included, along with fixes for PowerDVD.

There's no new update for Linux Radeon users, though we've all been more hopeful after their promises of a new driver that will change everything.
