Microsoft's Mac Business Unit has posted a new website where users can get a sneak peek at a number of new features available in Microsoft Office 2008 for Mac, which is due to be delivered sometime in the first half of 2008.

Plenty of information and video of previously known features as well as some new ones is available at the promo site including the new Elements Gallery, a user interface that gives users quick access to tools and formatting options within applications. The website doesn't have much information about Office's email client Entourage, however, which many people were hoping to hear about.

In August, Microsoft's Mac Business Unit announced that the delivery date for the next Mac version of its Microsoft Office suite had slipped from the second half of this year back to mid-January 2008, at the earliest, due to quality reasons. The company now hopes to release its much-awaited productivity suite in time for the annual Macworld Expo Conference.
