VMware expands hardware certifications
As virtualization grows, the companies who will seek to employ it will start going to greater lengths looking for certified professionals and certified hardware. In a market so new, however, very few such certifications exist. At the head of the camp, VMware is leading the way for changing this and has recently expanded their hardware certification program.
Now, storage companies can get virtual storage devices certified, such as iSCSI and other type of SANS that are more commonly used when companies need to store mass data. Following this, several big name companies are on the A list to be certified in the near future, such as HP, IBM and Hitachi.
