Stardock has released the latest version of its popular WindowBlinds user interface skinning application, offering an easy way to add some style to your Windows OS. Version 6 is the first revision to add full support for customizing Windows Vista – everything from the Taskbar to Internet Explorer 7 skinning, explorer backgrounds and nearly every other element of the Windows user interface.

Right out of the box, WindowBlinds 6 offers a number of preconfigured themes which you can further customize to give it your own unique look and feel. The new version also adds a host of other features including advanced animation support in skins, user-creatable skin sub-styles, and user customization options of fonts and colors in skins.

The $19.95 WindowBlinds 6 won't slow down your computer and uses very little memory, according to the company, as it relies on Vista's built-in hardware graphics acceleration to allow for maximum performance. To give it a try, head over to our download section and grab the latest version of WindowBlinds.
