OCZ continues to grow, and only five months after they announced the acquisition of PC Power & Cooling, they are announcing yet another acquisition. OCZ will be joining forces with Hypersonic PC, a vendor who is known for catering particularly to enthusiasts, especially in areas like mobile gaming which has become increasingly more common in the past three years.

The financial terms of the acquisition aren't mentioned, nor what specifically OCZ plans on doing with the Hypersonic brand. However, if OCZ was looking to expand their enthusiast hardware profile they picked a good company to merge with. They do mention plans to increase Hypersonic's hardware exposure to areas beyond their online store, which may mean a brick and mortar retail presence for the company.

You can read more in OCZ's press release.
