Manhunt 2 Britain ban lifted
While Manhunt 2 has already been released, certain countries still have it under a ban and will not allow it to be sold locally. The most classic example is Britain, where the BBFC found Manhunt 2 unworthy of British store shelf space and enacted a ban on the game.
That ban has now been lifted, following an appeal by Rockstar. The Video Appeals Committee found that the BBFC's decision was incorrect or otherwise unfounded, and lifted the ban. Obviously they are pleased by this and can now go on to selling the game via retail in Britain, though with the U.S. release having being two months ago it seems unlikely they will be able to spur interest again.
