AMD has released the last update of the year for their Catalyst software suite, bringing the package up to version 7.12. According to AMD's release notes, Radeon HD 3800-series graphics cards will get 5% higher frame rates in the DirectX 10 version of Company of Heroes thanks to the new driver, while HD 2900 cards will get improved Overdrive functionality.
This driver set also includes bug fixes for a number of games including Call of Duty, Crysis, Flight Simulator X, Hellgate: London, Enemy Territory: Quake Wars, Lost Planet, and more. Catalyst 7.12 installers are available for Windows Vista 32bit, Windows Vista 64bit, Windows XP / MCE, Windows XP 64bit, Linux 32bit and Linux 64bit.
