PNY settles with SanDisk over patent disputes

After battling PNY in the courts, SanDisk has come to a settlement with the company after they claimed PNY had violated their patents. They were just one of 25 total companies that SanDisk targeted, and there is no mention if this settlement will affect the outcome of any other pending cases.

With the agreement, PNY will be paying royalties to SanDisk, but will be able to continue marketing and selling their existing products. In a world of so many patent lawsuits, you'd think the tech industry is full of spies who are sneaking around stealing technologies only to get sued years down the road.
