A PC version of Ubisoft’s console hit Assassin’s Creed has been known to be in the works for a long time now, but the company has just revealed that the Windows version the game will be available in shops at the end of March boasting new exclusive content not found in the console editions.

Despite being vastly popular, with more than 5 million combined units of the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 editions sold, reviewers have complained that the game’s investigation missions were quite repetitive and that some were rather simple. To address those complaints, Assassin's Creed: Director’s Cut Edition for the PC will add four new types of investigations that will hopefully improve the sense of variety. This is good news for PC gamers, but don’t forget you’re going to need quite a hefty gaming rig to play the game if these hardware requirements are spot on.
