Patch Tuesday addresses 11 flaws
Patch Tuesday has once again arrived, so for the myriad of Windows users out there, a new host of fixes eagerly awaits to be downloaded. Six 'critical' flaws have been identified and fixed along with several lesser flaws that range from security issues in Microsoft Office to the Windows TCP/IP stack. Flaws in Office for Mac have also been addressed in this patch cycle.
Several fixes for Vista have been included, though it is noted that the Vista fixes will also be available in the yet unavailable Service Pack 1. Microsoft does not list any of these flaws as affecting Vista SP1 or Server 2008 only because they are not yet available to the public. Pirates might disagree with that assertion however.
