Via and Bitway have partnered on a new PC aimed exclusively at the Brazilian market, making it the next in a series of products that many vendors have pitched at particular regions. The Bitway Flex PC is a low power desktop that is based upon the Via pc2500. The board uses the newer series of C7-D CPUs, UniChrome IGP and everything else that Via is known for. Though performance on the C7 has always been lacking, the power profile of the entire system is a drop in the bucket, with a 76% reduction in power consumption compared to a similar desktop system.

The Bitway Flex PC itself will be very low cost, around $460 when adjusted for USD. The manufacturing boost that Via implemented at the end of last year played a part in this, including both manufacturing and distributing in Brazil.
