OpenOffice 2.4.0 released
OpenOffice lovers and users around the globe, be advised that an update for the suite has been published and is now available for download. OpenOffice 2.4 brings a host of incremental changes, though not quite as dramatic as other updates we have seen in the past. Some highlights include improvements in the user interface, better localization options, an updated database suite, enhancements for Calc, and many others.
The Windows installer with JRE is 127MB and the Linux installer is 166M, quite compact for an Office suite these days.
