For all of you Nvidia users out there, new Forceware drivers have been released. The WHQL-certified 174.74 driver package is now available for download for Windows XP and Vista, both 32-bit and 64-bit. The new driver package includes support for the newest GeForce 9 series cards, including the 9800 GX2 and 3-way SLI on the 9800 GTX.

They have also updated the Nvidia control panel with this release, adding support for managing custom resolutions. Improved performance is cited in “many” applications, and compatibility fixes. Considering it was just a few days ago that we heard about buggy driver aftermath on Vista, that last part is especially important for them to make clear.

  1. These drivers don't support all of the same cards that the beta 174.74 driver did. These drivers wouldn't let me install with my 8500GT card.Just a heads-up
