Filling up your gaming console’s hard drive already? Well, then you might be interested in Iomega’s recently released Media Xporter drive, a game-oriented 2.5-inch portable hard drive that provides cross-platform media storage for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 consoles.

This 160GB drive is compact and doesn’t require any external power, getting all the juice it needs from USB 2.0. Of course, being an external FAT32 hard drive it’ll also work with PCs and Macs, but its size, lack of power supply, and features make it ideal for consoles. One such feature is its included software tools for converting movie files that consoles won’t recognize – such as QuickTime, AVI and VOB files – into file formats supported by the game console systems. The Media Xporter Drive is available now through Iomega for $113.95.
