Three fired over GTA IV theft
Have you ever wanted a computer game so badly you’d lose your job over it? Apparently, a trio of UPS employees were willing to put their income on the line when shipments of GTA IV were headed towards a retail store. The obviously eagerly-anticipated game was like many others in terms of retail planning, and security for the stores and shipping companies involved were aware of the theft pretty soon after it happened. The three were fired as a result of their actions.
The culprits weren't trying to resell for a profit, and were likely just die-hard gamers wanting to an early peek at the game. Unfortunately for them, they now lost the game as well as their jobs, making it that much harder to afford a real copy when it’s available.
