AMD refutes Kuma cancellations

By Justin Mann on June 11, 2008, 6:50 PM
In contrast to some earlier reports, AMD has at least partially refuted some claims that their Kuma-based processors have been axed for delivery. They have said they certainly have not canceled plans to release the 65nm CPU, and will still be available this year. However, they did confirm that dual-core Phenoms will not be sold and were never on an official roadmap.

The CPUs are still coming out delayed, though, with AMD saying they are due in the second half of this year rather than the first.
