Though somewhat unrelated news, it's still gaming news of some sort. Vin Diesel, the recently acclaimed actor is starting his own videogame business, like he says, more of a hobby than a business to him. Coincidentally I just saw xXx movie yesterday, it turned out to be pretty cool IMHO...

On a recent teleconference to discuss the impending New Year's Day launch of xXx on DVD, the self-avowed geek announced plans to form Tigon Games, his very own videogame company. "So many people had been approaching me to attach my name to this kind of project lately, I figured the time was right to get out there and do something on my own," says the enigmatic entrepreneur. As for what exactly that "something" encompasses, he promises ongoing developments across every genre for all top console platforms will soon be underway.
