OCZ introduces more DIY notebook hardware

OCZ has introduced more hardware into the small DIY laptop market, with the introduction of new “whitebook” hardware. The new systems revolve around the Intel Centrino 2 platform, using Core 2 Extreme processors. The various components OCZ has chosen are of course geared towards those who want to build their own laptop, focusing on performance. The idea is not necessarily to save money, but to give flexibility and customization options.

It was just a few months ago that OCZ announced that they would be presenting DIY notebook hardware, but in the short time since the original announcement their hardware profile has expanded considerably. The new hardware includes larger screens, up to 17”, options for both ATI and Nvidia GPUs, choices between mechanical or SSD storage and more.
