Tyan says its Radeon 9700 Pro card better than ATI's

Those of you looking forward a videocard upgrade during the holiday season might want to check this out as well. Like in the old good times of Canopus (who made their own board designs for various Riva and Voodoo cards), Tyan has announced their Tachyon G9700 Pro which according to [URL=http://www.theinquirer.net/?article=6207]this article[/URL] will clock at 400MHz (core speed) and be 100% AGP 8x compatible.

  1. If I bought a new video card it would probably be from Gigabyte.I've been nothing short of impressed with my videocard, the Gigabyte Maya 8500LE. It came with 7 games, an overclocking util, and a custom Thermaltake heatsink. Can't beat that 8)The Maya II is a 9700...I would get that.
